I’m doing Vlogmas this year | What’s Vlogmas?

It’s been a rough year, we all know that. But I thrive when I have something to look forward to and since that’s not travel right now, I’m excited for a challenge that I’m taking on this December.

Sometimes we all need a little kick in the pants to get creative, to get motivated, and to grow. Especially when you are in your home the majority of the time, it’s easy to get stuck. I love to brainstorm, but eventually you have to just get it done. Take the leap and take on the challenge and give it all you’ve got. Ok, I’m totally talking to myself there, but you get the idea.

I need a little push and I think this is the perfect thing to do.

What is Vlogmas?

Vlogmas is a 24-day challenge for a YouTuber. The goal is to create a new video every day from December 1-24, and post it the very next day.

I have no idea how this is going to go, but since I’m a planner, I have some activities plans and plenty of ideas to keep the videos going for 24 whole days. That means I’ll be filming every day and editing every day and yes, I do my own editing.

These videos can be anything, really. Daily vlog style, sit and chat with you, a planned event, evening at home, day-in-the-life, advice, etc. Are you ready for some anything goes style of videos??

Why do Vlogmas?

Am I crazy? Maybe. BUT it is something to look forward to and these challenges have a way of building skills, creating speed, and confidence. Who doesn’t want all of those things?!

Also, I’m super excited to get to speak to you all daily and get instant feedback that I can implement right away. It gives me more of an opportunity to try different kinds of videos. I already mentioned a few styles that you might see, but here are some more ideas:

-Afternoon tea at home
-Cocktail making workshop
-Bake with me
-Learn more about me and Sean
-Travel tips
-Packing tips
-Amsterdam Christmas lights
-Canal cruise
-Super special dinner out
-Sean’s birthday!
-Decorating for Christmas
-Gift exchanges
-Building a gingerbread house
-How I work from home
-My favorite things

The list can really go on and on and I’m glad you’ll be along for the ride! Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel and hit the notification bell so you’ll be notified when they go live. I also have a community tab where I leave updates, so check that out from time to time. I may even let you plan my day that way!

See! This is what I mean, there is so much potential here! It’ll be a little more raw, a little more rough, but that’s okay. Are you with me?

(Don’t forget the click the bell!)
