Inspirational (and Practical) Travel Blogs to Read in 2015

Inspirational Blogs To Read

We don’t just write a blog, we love to read them! Everyone has their favorites and in the brief time that we have been working on A Wanderlust For Life, we have found a few travel blogs that have helped and inspired us through this process. Here’s the short list, please check them out and share the love. I hope you find something new!

A Globe Well-Travelled

If you want a good clean website with great photos, check out this blog from Ashlea. She’s a graphic designer (it shows!) and posts regularly. What does she write about?  Traveling of course! She’s traveled extensively inside and outside her home country of Australia. I mention inside because I think we all need to look a little close at what is right next door. She is also great at posting tips and lists that we all love to read.

Living in Another Language

Amanda has a beautiful blog and is also a graphic designer. This couple got married in the U.S. and soon realized that the “normal” life wasn’t for them and started traveling. The blog is very visual and you feel like you are right inside the photographs. It’s interesting to follow their expat life around the globe.

Mapping Megan

Mapping Megan is a travel adventure blog! Heart-pumping, awe-inspiring stuff. Meg is one hard-core Aussie woman who worked her butt off to make the money to travel. She has an amazing bucket list that she seems to be checking off left and right. You want inspiration to do those crazy things you think you can’t do? This is the blog for you!

The Travel Hack

Monica is a UK-based travel blogger who took two years of her life and traveled around Australia and Asia. Now, back in her home country she still travels as much as possible. She travels with style yet keeps it affordable. It’s a great blog to follow because it shows that you can have a “real life” and travel a lot too! She has great stories, important tips, and has made quite a name for herself. Her next adventure starts this Spring as she becomes a mom! So if you are a mom too, she’ll let you follow along as she learns to travel with a little one.

World of Wanderlust

Where do I begin with Brooke? She’s from Australia has accomplished a crazy amount in one year. Her blog was recently redesigned, so you can easily find the topics you are looking for. Traveling for an entire year solo teaches you a lot of yourself and about life. She shares her thoughts, photos, and great lists on this blog. And she’s also one of my three favorite vloggers of 2014!

    • Thank YOU for having an awesome blog!

Please let us know if you are able to come to visit Amsterdam. At least it’s only a train ride away if you were to do it before March 😉 I can’t wait to write more about it…there’s just so much to write!

    • Hi Amanda!
You are most welcome. I love how you just explained the meaning behind your name since you are living in an english-speaking country. I actually just read your post this morning! But really, I think a different culture is basically a different language…and let’s be real, I’m sure you are encountering a lot of words and phrasing you don’t understand over there 🙂

      Have a GREAT week!
