Amsterdam is a beautiful city of canals…and so much more! Whether you are a local (new or old), or a visitor, the Amsterdam Calling Video Web Series is something you should check out.
From cruising through the canals, to visiting major festivals, food events, and even hidden gems, they cover it all! With the help from Gessell and other co-hosts, you’ll see Amsterdam from the local perspective…and probably learn something new.
I was invited to be on the series for a tour and review of World of Food in ZuidOost (the southeastern part of Amsterdam). It is set up in a renovated parking garage that was turned into a foodie hot spot.
With stalls from various vendors and cuisines such Armenian, Surinamese, Italian, Indonesian, Chinese, and many more, you have plenty of opportunities to try something new! I loved the fried chicken, and the fish burger made with naan was incredibly delicious. But really, all the bites we tried were so full of flavor.

A huge thank you to Jerry and Gessell for inviting me along to this tasty shoot! It was so much fun spending the afternoon with you both, and of course I love discovering new places in our city. Check out the video above and be sure to subscribe to their channel for all things Amsterdam!
